whoa!

Recently one of the pharmaceutical companies floated a promotional scheme in my town. It appeared very novel to me.This view was shattered by many friends and colleagues claiming it to be age old .I fail to understand why it did not click ?. Here is how it goes......

The medical firm asks the doctor to either purchase 3000 rs worth of their medicines or write equivalent prescriptions.In return ,for the first month the doctor gets a cheque /bank draft of Rs2500 .For the next month the same thing applies. For the third month in return for the Rs3000 purchase the doctor gets Rs 5000.Fourth month fetches him Rs 10,000,fifth month Rs 20,000 and from 6Th month onwards Rs 25,000 till the doctor wishes to continue with the scheme. The only rider was that from third month onwards the doctor gets 6 month post dated cheques.

Probably my colleagues could not wait for those 6 months.
